Vans made in China have gone on sale for the first time in Britain. Dongfeng Motor Corporation has appointed Coastal 4x4 to distribute its DFM line-up of micro vans and single and double cab pick-ups in the UK. Coastal has experience as an independent importer of Japanese vehicles.

Best-known for its big capacity diesels, Cummins has launched a new range of small, light, turbochargers designed for 2.0- to 5.0-litre van and light truck diesel engines through its Cummins Turbo Technologies (CTT) subsidiary.

Vauxhall’s Corsavan ecoFLEX, its first van to include a Start/Stop system combined with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter), is now on sale.
