Alltec opts for Citroën Relay

Carpet cleaning equipment maker Alltec Network has agreed to purchase some 150 3.5-tonne Citroën Relay 120 bhp 13m3 vans over the next three years in a solus deal with the French manufacturer.

To be supplied through London dealer Citroën City, they'll be carrying Alltec's ThermalWave machines designed for contractors providing domestic and industrial floor cleaning services. Each machine weighs 445kg when empty, rising to just over 1,400kg when filled with water and cleaning solutions.

The load area of each Relay — now Alltec's standard van — will be protected with plywood sprayed by Alltec with a multi-layer chemical and water-resistant All-Dry lining.
