They'll be held on Thursdays on alternate weeks to the Wednesday heavy truck auctions. The move should help boost CVA's commercial vehicle sales throughput by around 25 per cent this year and coincides with a major uprating of its computer system in a bid to speed up vehicle processing and the completion of transactions.

Elsewhere, LeasePlan and auctioneer BCA have signed a new, three-year agreement which will involve around 9,000 commercials being disposed of through eight BCA sites.
