Ford comes to the rescue

Date: Wednesday, September 19, 2007

Ford has signed a new deal to supply 300 Transits to the AA. The UK's largest roadside assistance organisation will use the medium-wheelbase vans for its patrols that assist with accidents or breakdowns.

The first of the Transits was handed over to AA patrolman of the year Adam Ashmore by Ford of Britain boss Roelant de Waard (left).

Ford offers 36 months of AA roadside assistance for commercial vehicles and 12 months cover for all new cars under the Ford Assistance scheme.
