Ford F-150 caught on camera

Date: Thursday, May 3, 2007

Speed cameras can be irritating, but vandalism is not a recommended course of action.

The unlucky driver of the F-Series pick-up in the picture, one Paul Dinsdale, claims to have suffered a steering-related mechanical failure which lead to him 'mounting' this Truvelo forward-facing speed camera in Buxton, Derbyshire.

The police have taken the imported pick-up away to investigate the cause of the accident.

Speaking exclusively to our sister magazine BusinessCar, Dinsdale said: “I'd had my eye on that camera for years, although seriously I was lucky I wasn't in a normal car; hitting the camera was like hitting a brick wall.”
