Reduce fuel costs with free driver's guide

Date: Wednesday, March 14, 2007

Lease hire specialist Alphabet is offering companies free copies of a driver's guide to help minimise fuel costs.

Called Fuel Sense the guide offers sensible advice such as trying to avoid filling up at expensive motorway service stations and turning off the engine when stuck in heavy traffic. By following the advice Alphabet claims drivers can cut fuel consumption, and therefore fuel bills, by as much as 10 per cent.

"Educating drivers about buying and using petrol and diesel carefully is a key step in containing fleet fuel costs," said Richard Schooling, commercial director of Alphabet.

Order copies of the guide from Alphabet by calling 0870 50 50 100 or e-mailing a request to alphabet@alphabet.co.uk.
