RHC goes up in the world with Vitos

Date: Monday, June 28, 2010

Bristol-based lifting equipment specialist RHC has acquired a fleet of nine Mercedes-Benz Vito vans supplied through local dealer City West Commercials.

The majority are 111CDI Longs but the line-up also includes a couple of 111CDI Compacts plus a 120CDI Sport. They’re being purchased under a hire purchase agreement with Mercedes-Benz Charterway.

RHC supplies, installs and maintains cranes, gantries and hoists among other equipment. The 111CDIs are being used by the firm’s service engineers while the 120CDI Sport functions as the height safety manager’s company car. RHC operates nationwide although the bulk of its business derives from the south-west. Customers include Airbus UK.

Elsewhere, refrigeration specialist Capital Cooling has put eight Vito 111CDIs`plus a Sprinter 313CDI into service.

Based at Broxburn not far from Edinburgh, the company manufactures commercial refrigeration cabinets. It also services and repairs commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.

The Long-bodied Vitos have joined a fleet of 65 service vehicles and have been racked out to carry tools and parts. The Sprinter is being used by Capital’s installation team. The vans were supplied through local dealer Western Commercial.
