Showtime for Citroen

Date: Tuesday, December 7, 2010

Citroen has finally made a commitment to attend the Commercial Vehicle Show, which runs from the 12-14 April next year at the NEC in Birmingham.

The brand has booked stand space but not yet revealed which products it will exhibit at the event.

A spokesman told What Van?: “We’re keeping our powder dry, we’ll have a press conference in January. We will have something of interest, we always try to have something new.”

He said Citroen had consistently attended the CV Show in the past, despite not appearing at the scaled down CV Operators’ Show last year.

The brand follows Ford, Mercedes, Nissan, Vauxhall, and Fiat in committing to the show. Peugeot is also likely to attend and Renault and Iveco will be there if budgets permit.

Volkswagen has not committed to the event and Toyota has ruled itself out, saying it would have no new product to display.
