Vauxhall backs best practice scheme

Date: Tuesday, October 19, 2010

Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles has thrown its support behind the Department for Transport’s Van Best Practice programme, which aims to help LCV operators improve the economical, environmental and safety performance of their fleets.

The scheme offers free advice to businesses on how they can change the way they run their vans to reduce fuel and running costs and cut CO2 emissions.

Vauxhall will promote Van Best Practice through its website and in its CV customer magazine, Wheels of Business.

Steve Bryant, brand manager Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles, said: “We have always been keen to help businesses reduce costs and their impact on the environment. The benefits of Van Best Practice to Vauxhall customers, from saving money to improving business performance and reducing C02 emissions are clear to see.”
