Citroen has geared up for the festive season by securing three major fleet deals for its light commercial vehicles going in to the final quarter of the year.

Herbs and spices supplier Schwartz has taken delivery of 232 Berlingo HDi manual L2 750 crew vans to be used by its national sales and field support teams.

Schwartz has specified metallic paint in Arctic Steel or Shark Grey and air conditioning for the vans in addition to the standard equipment. The company has also upgraded the Berlingo’s standard Trafficmaster telematics platform to include the Fleet Director fleet management package.

Citroen London West supplied the vans, which are being operated by Lex Autolease on two-year contract hire agreements.

Parts distributor Mill Autoquip has purchased 40 Nemo and six Berlingo vans and now has more than 100 Citroen LCVs on its fleet.

Hawkins motors in Cornwall supplied the Nemo X HDi 75 manual vans, which have a 660kg payload and 2.5m3 load volume that rises to 2.8m3 with a load length of 2.49m when the front seat is folded flat.

Autoquip said the Nemos will make up to 50 drops a day.

In another deal for the manufacturer Jones Lang Lasalle, an international real estate management company has taken delivery of 77 Citroën Berlingo HDi 75 manual L1 625 LX vans and 21 Dispatch HDi 90 manual L2H11200 vans.  The vehicles will be used by JLL’s specialist service engineers who look after the building maintenance for the HSBC UK banking network, their remit includes working on air conditioning, lifts, electrics, plumbing along with day to day repairs. Citroen dealer Perrys Fleet Direct of Luton supplied the vans, which have bespoke Bott racking and tooling, including fold-out vice platforms.
