Auto Styling Truckman expands workshop

Auto Styling Truckman has invested in a larger workshop ahead of the launch of new hardtops for pick-up trucks.

The new area, which is housed within the company’s fitting and distribution centre, will support the development of the firm’s range of hardtops, including new models for upcoming vehicles such as the Mitsubishi L200 and Toyota Hilux.

The new workshop is double the size of the existing ‘shop. The firm currently employs three tool makers, but plans to recruit two new members of staff, owing to increased demand from the commercial vehicle market.

“We pride ourselves on being a progressive company that is at the forefront of developments in our sector,” said Mike Wheeler, managing director of Auto Styling Truckman. “The investment in the development and tool making workshop will increase capacity and capabilities within the business and also ensure we can deliver the next generation of hardtops for the new pick-up truck models efficiently and effectively.”
