Bristol Water has taken delivery of 18 Peugeot Expert vans as part of a new four-year deal with the French brand.

The vans, plus a batch of 308 cars, are the first vehicles to be delivered to the utility company as part of the new agreement.

The vans are powered by the firm’s 95hp 1.6-litre diesel unit and equipment includes a folding passenger seat, aircon and rear parking sensors, as well as a satnav and a DAB radio housed on a seven-inch touchscreen, which can display a smartphone’s screen.

“A tender went out to all manufacturers and was won by Peugeot for both car and vans for four years. This latest deal builds on the relationship we have established with Peugeot over many years,” said Csaba Ujvari, fleet manager for Bristol Water.

Martin Gurney, director of fleet at PSA Group UK added: “Maintaining and further developing our relationship with Bristol Water by winning this vehicle supplier deal is an important step for Peugeot. The company is among the first to be supplied with a fleet of Expert vans, launched at the CV Show last year.”
