Peugeot has revealed an electric version of its Partner Teepee van ahead of its debut at the Geneva motor show next month.

Designed to take on other electric vans, such as the Renault Kangoo ZE and Nissan E-NV200, the French manufacturer claimed the new model is capable for travelling more than 100 miles between charges.

Due to go on sale later this year, the van offers luggage capacity of 1.3m3 litres with five passengers aboard, and 3.0m3 litres with the rear seats folded down.

Peugeot said buyers will be able to remotely control the recharging and aircon from a smartphone or tablet, while the LCV’s standard equipment list includes cruise control, a reversing camera and hill-start assist.

“The Peugoet Partner Tepee Electric demonstrates our intention to make sustainable mobility accessible to all,” said David Peel, managing director of Peugeot UK. “Whether for personal or business use, the Partner Tepee Electric stands out thanks to its blend of practicality and efficiency. The vehicle offers an impressive range and is easy to run and maintain, making it a highly attractive option for those looking to switch to electric.”
