IMAGE OF THE MONTH: A moving tribute to Ed Sheeran

Date: Friday, March 17, 2017

Suffolk-based delivery driver and artist Rick Minns (aka ‘Muddy Ruddy’) has been treating locals to a moving portrait of singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran, which he etched into the dirt on the rear doors of his Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van.

The image is entitled ‘Castle on the Hill’ after a song Sheeran, who himself hails from Framlingham, Suffolk, wrote about the landmark building in the town where he grew up.

Minns, who works for a wholesale florist, has also used his talent to draw images supporting the ‘Hands Off’ campaign, launched by Archant Newspaper titles in Suffolk and Norfolk, to discourage motorists from using mobile phones while driving.
