VW camps it up for summer

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has launched its summer accessory and merchandise range.
All the accessories are available through the firm’s Van Centre network of dealers, with prices ranging from £5.83 for a campervan ice cube tray to £215.83 for a four-man tent based on the iconic T1 campervan.
VW said the range was developed with Volkswagen enthusiasts in mind with products drawing on the brand’s back-catalogue of vehicles for inspiration.
A range of picnic accessories – a blanket, cushion, sun umbrella and deck chairs – is offered in matching red, blue and white colours and are based on the T1.
The range also helps owners and VW fans plan for all types of weather, from a California baseball cap to a T6-inspired umbrella for when it rain, while the firm is also offering a an on-board espresso maker complete with cups and a carry case.
Children are also catered for, with the launch of a campervan play tent and a fully-insulated T1-inspired lunch bag.
