The 2018 CV Show starts on 24 April

Van and pick-up manufacturers have revealed some of the models they’ll be showcasing at this year’s CV Show.

The event, the largest of its kind in the UK, will be taking place at the NEC in Birmingham between April 24 and April 26.

Among the major exhibitors will be Ford, which will be holding the official European launch of facelifted versions of the UK’s bestselling van, the Transit Custom, along with the passenger-carrying Tourneo.

The Blue Oval will also be staging the official launch of a revised Transit Connect and Tourneo Connect, showing a revised Transit Courier, and also exhibiting a new special edition version of its Ranger pick-up.

Over at Volkswagen, the big attraction will be the debut of Business Edition packs, which will be available on Caddy, Transporter and Crafter panel van models.

VW says these bundle together commonly specified options, such as an alarm and rear parking sensors, for a cheaper overall price.

The Toyota stand will be marking the 50th anniversary of the Hilux pick-up by hosting the European premiere of a new top-of-the-range version, and also showing a special edition limited to 150 models in the UK.

Toyota will also be exhibiting the first commercial version of its Landcruiser SUV –

Close to 500 exhibitors are set to appear at the show.
