CV SHOW CATCH-UP: Renault offers signs to save time

Date: Thursday, May 3, 2018

Renault launched an in-house sign writing initiative at the NEC in Birmingham aimed at small and medium-size businesses as well as sole traders.

The brand said the initiative would make life easier for customers by enabling them to order livery at the same time as their light commercial vehicles, with Renault then completing the work at the UK import centre prior to delivering the vans to the operator.

The service is available from the end of April with work costing from £215 to £535, excluding VAT depending on the model ordered – Kangoo, Trafic or Master.

The sign writing is created within three standard templates, according to the manufacturer, allowing the customer to add their logo, expertise and services offered, a website address and business telephone number. Font type and colour can also be specified.

The signs are for the each side of the van and the rear doors or tailgate.

Renault said the main benefit of the initiative would be to eliminate downtime for customers.
