Hatcher Components has introduced sleeper cab conversions for the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and MAN TGE large vans.

The conversions are part of Hatcher’s Pony ISM range, and are designed to offer an economic overnight option for LCV operators routing over longer distances.

Each bunk area, accessed via a roof hatch, is equipped with a six-foot mattress, electric socket, spotlights, two side opening windows and a sunroof.

Curtains and a night heater are optional extras.

Fitting is carried out at Hatcher’s factory in Framlingham, Suffolk, and can take two to three days depending on model and extras.

Hatcher sales manager Craig Poacher said LCV sleeper conversions were still proving as popular as ever.

He said: “We launched the Pony ISM range in 2007 and demand is still strong, as it is for LCV sleeper conversions in general.

“Fleets need the flexibility to respond to different requirements, especially if these are at short notice and finding accommodation can be difficult.”
