Nissan has launched a new special edition version of its Navara pick-up.

The N-Guard comes in a double-cab body style, with a 2.3-litre 190hp dCi diesel engine, and a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic gearbox.

It is based on the regular range-topping Tekna trim, but with the front grille, fog lamp surrounds, mirror covers, door handles and rear bumper finished in black, matching side steps and roof rails added, and black 18in alloy wheels fitted.

The inside of the headlamps have also been darkened, and a sunroof with tinted glass is fitted as standard.

The N-Guard is available with a choice of three paint colours – Twilight Grey, Metallic Black and Storm White – and comes with unique decals at the base of the front doors, extending onto the load bed behind the rear wheel.

Inside, re-styled leather and cloth seats come with base and back inserts featuring a dark grey and yellow design with yellow double stiching.

This is replicated on the door trim and on new floor mats, which feature a geometric design matching the exterior decals.

Headlamp washers are fitted as standard, along with hill start assist, hill descent control, intelligent emergency braking and intelligent around view monitor.

Prices excluding VAT are £28,075 for the N-Guard with manual transmission, and £29,525 for the automatic.
