Scot Seat reveals new Land Rover 5 commercial seat kit

Specialist seat manufacturer Scot Seat has revealed a new fold-up design for the Land Rover Discovery 5 Commercial.
The kit provides a full-width, forward-facing, fold-down, three-person seat fitted with two three-point, inertia reel lap-and-diagonal seat belts, as well as a single, centre, lap seat belt. The company says the product is designed for maximum comfort and trimmed in material options to match the driver seat.
The back of the seat folds forward with a single-handed operation, leaving a full load area in the commercial vehicle, and it doesn’t interfere with the flip-up storage area in rear.
The headrests are adjustable, and there’s an optional Isofix mounting.
The new kit was launched at April’s CV Show, where Scot Seat displayed its full range of commercial vehicle and passenger seats.
Meanwhile, work continues apace on the company’s new 16,500ft2 factory site, which will feature a mezzanine and be located next to the firm’s current location in Fenwick, Ayrshire.
