Truckman hires new business development manager

LCV hardtop and accessories manufacturer Truckman has announced the appointment of a new business development manager.
Phil Smith will be responsible for the growth of Truckman’s relationships with major fleet and OEM customers, while working closely with the internal sales team to support the company’s daily business duties with main dealers and general trade clients.
Before he joined Truckman, Smith was sales development manager for Pedders Suspension.
During his career Smith is said to have gained a wealth of knowledge in sales, business development and customer relations in the automotive sector.
Smith said: “Truckman is a highly respected company in the UK automotive industry, so I am delighted to have joined the team.
“I am very excited to use my existing business skills to accelerate the company’s sales across a number of sectors and locations.”
Truckman managing director Richard Langman said: “We are continually investing in our sales and customer relations departments to meet increasing demands.
“With his vast experience in the automotive industry, Phil’s sales-specific knowledge will help our business develop and grow.”
