Truckman launches Retrax roller tonneau cover

A new roller tonneau cover for pick-ups has gone on sale from Truckman.
The Retrax cover is matt black and features extruded aluminium box section laths.
Design features include ‘sealed-for-life’ roller bearings, said to offer smooth running and lateral control that stops snagging as the cover is deployed or retracted.
When it is retracted, the cover goes into a spiral canister system that prevents it from coming into contact with its under-surface as it rolls up, stopping the cover scratching itself.
Other features include a water management system, which drains water away from the truck bed, and a lock cover which makes the lock freeze-resistant.
Truckman also says it designed the cover with a one-handed open and close system which does not require a central strap to close.
It is available for the Ford Ranger, Nissan Navara, Isuzu D-Max, Toyota Hilux, Volkswagon Amarok and Mercedes X-Class, and comes with a five-year warranty.
It can be fitted by a customer or workshop, or at Truckman’s fitting centre in Dudley.
The Retrax retails at £1,062 excluding VAT.
