M Group Services agrees fleet deal for Volkswagen Transporter Bott conversion

A 40-strong fleet of Volkswagen Transporter vans with a UK-first conversion by Bott Ltd has been taken on by M Group Services Plant and Fleet Solutions.
The Bott design, developed in collaboration with M Group Services, includes underfloor drawers and three Euro boxes for storing tools and equipment, as well as a high-powered inverter kit and a non-slip plywood deck.
The conversion also includes a ladder storage pocket, fitted to match required ladder specifications, along with a laptop holder, first aid bracket, and hygiene system.
The vans, also equipped with VW’s 4Motion all-wheel drive system, will be used by Magdalene, an M Group Services-owned telecom infrastructure service provider.
M Group Services Plant and Fleet Solutions head of fleet operations Tony Raymond said: “As a company that delivers essential telecommunication infrastructure services across the UK and Ireland, it is vital that Magdalene can rely on this fleet of vans to transport its people across the country.
“The Volkswagen Transporter vans are an excellent choice for us in this application. We sourced them specifically for work that Magdalene will be delivering on behalf of a new client that will require four-wheel drive vans that can be used both on- and off-road.
“The conversion that we have developed with Bott Ltd provides Magdalene with an excellent vehicle to deliver the best possible service in this working environment. The feedback on the new vehicle from our technicians has been excellent.”
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles head of fleet Claire English said: “We are delighted to have secured a deal with M Group Services to deliver a fleet of 40 Transporter vans for Magdalene.
