IAM Roadsmart appoints new policy and standards director

Nick Lyes has been named as policy and standards director by road safety charity IAM Roadsmart.
Lyes, who previously worked as head of road policy and public affairs manager for the RAC, will be tasked with playing a key role in accelerating awareness in the road safety space.
He said: “I’m incredibly proud to be joining IAM Roadsmart and look forward to being a part of positive change for road safety.”
IAM Roadsmart chief executive Antony Kildare said: “We are delighted to welcome Nick, who brings strength to our senior leadership team as we work to deliver our three-year strategy.
“I would like to recognise the outstanding commitment of our current policy and research director, Neil Greig, who has been with the charity for many years. Neil will be staying with the charity in an advisory capacity for the foreseeable, prior to stepping down to enjoy retirement.”
