New head of direct sales for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has announced the appointment of Tom Macintyre as head of direct sales.
Macintyre will take on his new role in September, replacing David Hanna, who is becoming head of network sales at Volkswagen Passenger Vehicles.
Macintyre first joined Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in August 2021 as head of product planning, having previously worked for Volkswagen Financial Services.
In his new position, he will be tasked with delivering against Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ strategic priorities, including growing its market share in electric vehicles.
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles director Cian O’Brien said: “We are delighted to offer Tom this opportunity to continue expanding his career within the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brand.
“Tom’s broad experience across strategic transformation and digital process development make him well appointed to deliver our business priorities.”
