Citroën makes multi-million pound investment in Relay Conversions

Citroën has invested £2,371,700 in an additional 100 New Relay specialist models in order to reduce delivery times on their most popular conversions.

The Ready to Run scheme Relay models that have been added to the stock at Citroën’s Business Centre networks include 40 Relay 35 L2 HDi 130 six-speed manual Tipmaster-bodied Tippers which cost £23,735, 30 Relay 35 L3 HDi 130 six-speed manual Ingimex-bodied Dropside trucks at £22,440 and 30 Relay 35 L3 HDi 130 six-speed manual Buckstone-bodied Luton vans at £24,970. All prices exclude VAT.

All the vehicles are covered by Citroën’s two year/unlimited mileage or three year/100,000 mile warranty for both the chassis and conversion bodywork.

Jeremy Smith, Citroën’s UK CV boss, said: “To maintain the momentum of the successful New Relay launch, we are now putting increased emphasis on New Relay Specialist Models and Ready to Run conversions, which are increasingly in demand from our growing SME customer base”.  

Citroën launched its latest Relay heavy van in July this year.
