VW bolsters council van fleet

Volkswagen is to provide 224 vans to North Lanarkshire Council.
The deal, which covers 45% of the council’s 500-strong LCV fleet, includes Caddy, Transporter and Crafter panel vans as well as a Crafter Luton with a built-in tail lift from the manufacturer’s Engineered-to-Go scheme.
The council said the traditionally strong residual values of VW’s vans helped the brand win the contract.
