VW reveals AWD Multivan Alltrack

Volkswagen has unveiled an all-wheel drive light commercial vehicle concept at the Geneva Motor Show.
Dubbed the Multivan Alltrack, the vehicle is designed for flexible use from towing to load lugging to camping and features the brand’s 4Motion AWD and off-road technology.
The concept features 19-inch alloys, large front and rear bumpers and integrated underbody protection while the interior comes with leather seats and a boat-style wooden floor. The infotainment system is operated by an eight-inch touchscreen and sound comes from a Dynaudio Surround Sound System.
A floor-track system enables seats to be moved and also serves as a base to securely mount a mobile kitchen module, which can be placed either on the left side of the vehicle or behind the front seats.
Along with a cooling box the module provides a gas cooker and sink with a fresh water tank.
A 2.0-litre 180hp TDi diesel engine powers the Multivan. Volkswagen claimed that one-in-five of the LCVs it sells in Europe are AWD.
