Long Term Test: Mini Clubvan

Date: Sunday, April 6, 2014   |   Author: Steve Banner

We’re peaceable souls at What Van? – lovers not fighters – but we would relish the opportunity of at the very least tweaking the ears of whoever pulled off the Clubvan’s rear wiper blades and dumped them in a puddle in a car park in the middle of Gloucester.

Fortunately, we spotted they were missing, saw where they had gone, and they proved easy enough to re-attach. The rear wipers have been a boon in the recent appalling weather. Happily, the Clubvan has survived the storms, but large puddles in the highway have to be approached slowly and with caution because they may conceal a pothole, and the Mini’s unforgiving suspension definitely dislikes potholes.
