Celebrating some of the most capable IVECO vehicles on the road, the IVECO Mission Awards returns for 2025 – this time showcasing the entire IVECO range. Each quarter, these pages highlight standout IVECO models, all leading up to the grand finale hosted at a black tie awards evening at the end of the year.
This quarter, the spotlight is on alternative fuels – something that has been baked into IVECO’s DNA for over 20 years – and in terms of LCVs, this means two hugely capable IVECO Daily vehicles are on the shortlist! Its truck-based chassis makes the Daily a perfect basis for bodybuilders to show off their innovation, and allows operators to decarbonise without compromise.

Cheshire West and Chester Council – Walton Summit
Supporting Cheshire West and Chester Council’s education sectors, this IVECO eDaily (70C14E) mobile library unit is a fantastic showcase of what the eDaily has to offer. Sitting atop a 7.2t 4,750mm wheelbase chassis cab, the “Book Bus” takes education and enjoyment to even the most rural areas of the borough. Its three modular batteries provide a perfect balance of performance and payload.
Before going into operation, Torton Bodies fitted the eDaily with an ambitious custom bodybuild, which is made from lightweight and durable materials to ensure maximum payload. The build includes air conditioning and heating, multimedia systems, shelving and seats – as well as a 12v access wheelchair lift.
This eDaily was supplied by Walton Summit, and comes with IVECO’s impressive battery warranty of eight years or up to 155,000 miles. Mission Award judges commended Cheshire West and Chester Council’s innovative body build.

Dunelm – Guests Motor Group
The UK’s narrow roads and big payloads aren’t the best of bedfellows, but ‘right-sizing’ your vehicle for such challenging missions with a highly capable LCV is exactly what the Daily is designed to do. A 7.2t GVW, lightweight and durable body, and the class-leading turning circle makes this IVECO unbeatable in urban spaces.
An IVECO Daily CNG (72c14GA8) was chosen with its biomethane fuel delivering a dramatic CO2 reduction of up to 95% versus an equivalent diesel van. With an anticipated annual mileage of 75,000, this van is key to reducing fleet emissions.
JC Payne were tasked with the bodybuild for this vehicle, cladding the vehicle with a lightweight but very durable body, complete with various strapping points to secure the load. The final weight of the vehicle enables a generous 3,380kg payload.
The vehicle was supplied by Guests Motor Group, with Mission Award judges celebrating the use of CNG in the urban delivery sector.
