Recognising vehicles that push the boundaries of IVECO’s DNA, the IVECO Mission Awards 2025 has been expanded to include the entire IVECO line-up. Throughout the year, outstanding IVECO Daily vans have featured in these pages, before facing off in a grand finale in November to decide the champion.

The final shortlist of the year focuses on Delivery & Distribution – a sector that keeps the country moving. Vehicles in this category demonstrate how the strength, versatility and innovation baked into IVECO’s DNA provides the perfect partner for every mission.

Brocklehurst Transport – Northern Commercials

Brocklehurst Transport offers a complete logistics package, UK-wide. Covering up to 50,000 miles per year, it required a fleet of vans that provided ultimate driver comfort, as well as class-leading efficiency and payload. Fortunately, its fleet of IVECO Daily (35S14) 3,750mm curtainsiders do just that.

A HiMatic 8-speed gearbox delivers smooth changes, keeping all cargo safe and secure, as well as giving a comfortable driving experience. Air conditioning, cruise control, crosswind assist and electric heated and adjustable mirrors work together to reduce driver fatigue, whilst a cab wind deflector increases fuel efficiency.

Outside of the cab, extended mirror arms, reversing camera system with audible warning and that unmissable livery maximise safety. A Dhollandia tail lift also improves operational safety for drivers.

Northern Commercials supplied the Daily fleet on a 2XL R&M package over three years, and Mission Award judges noted Brocklehurst’s dedication to detail in maximising safety through its specification choices.

Agrii – South West Truck & Van

Supporting our nation’s farmers by providing unwavering expertise and support, Agrii is the leading provider of agronomy services in the UK. Its fleet of 50 IVECO Daily vans recently expanded with the addition of five new IVECO eDaily 7.2t curtainsiders.

Its four modular batteries have a capacity of 148kWh, which translates to upwards of 180 miles of emission-free range, with fast-charging capability that can provide over 60 miles of range in just 20 minutes. Each vehicle has also been fitted with Trailar ultra-thin shatterproof solar panels, offering even more range, producing 500kWh annually. All in, these eDaily vans offer a 50% reduction in running costs versus equivalent diesel counterparts, with no compromise on payload, cargo volume or manoeuvrability.

The eDaily fleet – supplied by South West Truck & Van – also benefits from IVECO’s 8-year or 100,000km battery warranty, promising to maintain a minimum of 80% capacity.

Mission Award judges were wowed by this fleet’s real-world demonstration of the capabilities of a 7.2-tonne electric van.
