The future is shaped by those who dare to dream beyond limits and embrace innovation. For Kia, the future is more than simply all-electric: it redefines light commercial vehicles by seamlessly integrating advanced software solutions and EV technology.
Whether you’re a personal or fleet customer, the brand aims to create an ecosystem where work and life flow seamlessly, supporting you at every step of the journey into the electric future through smart software solutions.
This April, Kia gave UK customers a first glimpse of that future with its grand unveiling of the all-electric Kia PV5 Cargo at the CV Show at the NEC in Birmingham. The event marked the vehicle’s UK launch, having already been awarded the 2025 What Van? Manufacturer Award: One to Watch, with attendees admiring its sleek looks and exploring its smart cargo solutions.
As a panel van optimised for business use, it offers the lowest rear loading height in the segment at just 419mm, combined with a maximum load area up to 4.4m³ and up to 1,815mm of interior height. There’s also plenty of customisation possible in the vehicle’s profiles, layouts and interiors to meet your exact business needs.
You can always count on the PV5’s maximum range of up to 247 miles and its reliable charging capability, no matter how far your journey takes you. With DC fast charging in under 30 mins from 10% to 80% and the standard 11kW AC, you’ll spend less time waiting and more time on the move.
There are plenty of places to plug in, too; our bespoke Kia Charge service means PV5 drivers can charge at more than 50,000 points in the UK, and nearly a million across Europe, with no additional subscription required. With the simplified Plug & Charge process making payments effortless and optional access to bolt-on packages from IONITY and BP Pulse, it’s never been easier to charge faster and go further on electric power.
Fleet customers are also aided every mile by Kia’s Fleet Management Solutions, developed in partnership with global leader Geotab. Fleet managers and drivers can connect to their businesses anytime, anywhere through their vehicle terminals, Driver App or dedicated Fleet Manager Portal, wielding the power of high-quality vehicle data without the need for additional devices or services.
Pre-orders are now open, with a starting price of £27,645 (+VAT). If you want to witness Kia’s PBV vision for yourself, don’t miss the chance to scan the QR code to register your interest in the PV5!
