As the leading provider for vehicle, camera and mobile tracking solutions, plus award-winning lone-worker protection, Crystal Ball is the only provider within the UK offering all workforce management solutions on one platform. It is very proud to be sponsoring the 2017 What Van? Awards Editor’s Choice category.
After celebrating 25 years in business last year, Raj Singh, managing director at Crystal Ball, is passionate about helping fleets become more compliant, improving driver and fleet efficiency, and reducing costs.
Raj’s passion for business began 26 years ago in telecommunications selling mobile phone contracts to businesses and consumers through his network of high-street stores as a certified partner for all the major UK mobile networks. As the mobile market became saturated around the millennium, Raj felt it was the right time to diversify his product offering and to develop new solutions to react to the changing economy and market demands.
In 2008, Crystal Ball was established, initially launching FleetTracker, then a GPS vehicle tracking system designed to reduce fleet costs and increase workforce productivity. This is now used by thousands of SMEs and local Government bodies in the UK today.
Due to ongoing in-house development and customer requirements, Crystal Ball launched its award-winning lone-worker protection application soon after, along with mobile tracking and various field service management apps.
In July of this year Crystal Ball launched SmartCam, a fully integrated fleet tracking and 3G HD video camera solution, suitable for fleets of all sizes. SmartCam is the next generation of tracking, ensuring company compliance with vehicle law and regulations, improving driver behaviour, and providing FNOL in respect of insurance claims.
Crystal Ball is dedicated to continuous improvement and development and is driven by its most valued assets: its customers, which include BT IT Services, Places for People, Edinburgh City Council, and The
Co-operative Funeralcare.
