Lighting firm switches on to Sprinter again

Date: Thursday, October 23, 2008

Glasgow lighting and property maintenance company Interlink Lighting has just taken delivery of its sixth Sprinter — a 3.0 tonne 211CDI Medium van — to help it service business clients throughout mainland Britain and Northern Ireland.

Customers include Hilton Hotels, BAE Systems and Prudential and its vans are all racked out as mobile workshops. The latest Sprinter was supplied through Govan dealership Western Commercials.

Elsewhere in Scotland, the 30-bedroom Drover's Inn at Inveraman near Loch Lomond has acquired a Vito 111CDI Traveliner minibus. Also sourced through Western, it's used to ferry guests between the hotel and Glasgow Airport, some 50 minutes drive away, as well as collecting them from and returning them to the local railway station at Ardlui. A vinyl body wrap designed, believe it or not, by Midgibyte Creations of Glasgow ensures the Vito stands out in the crowd.
