Vito Sport turns up the heat in Lincolnshire

Date: Wednesday, December 19, 2007

Lucky fire service manager David Hopkins is now using a 150hp metallic black Vito Sport 115CDI Long as his company vehicle. A Dualiner, it's got a second row of seats as well as a cargo compartment at the back and can carry five people as well as his equipment.

Working for Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, Hopkins is responsible for eight stations covering the south-east of the county. Among other goodies his Vito boasts air-conditioning, cruise control and 17in alloy wheels with low profile tyres and has enough performance on tap to allow him to get to emergencies quickly. “It's a stunning van,” grins Hopkins.

Sourced through Lincoln dealer H & L Garages, it was supplied to the service under a lease agreement with Lloyds TSB Autolease. Lindum Group of Lincoln fitted blue flashing lights to its front grille, headlight flasher units and an electronic siren.
