Isuzu trucks deliver the news

Date: Monday, January 12, 2009

Ten Isuzu N75.190 7.5-tonners have gone into service with Associated London Distribution. They’re being used to deliver copies of the Metro newspaper to railway stations in and around the capital and the Home Counties.

The Isuzus were chosen because of their payload capacity and manoeuvrability, says Associated, and are the first to join the firm’s fleet. Sourced through Thurrock, Essex dealership M C Truck Group, they’re all fitted with EasyShift semi-automatic gearboxes and curtainsider bodies. They’re set to cover around 50,000 miles annually apiece during their four year life with the operator.
