Ford and Peugeot introduce Euro5 engines

Ford and Peugeot have introduced Euro5 diesel engines to their LCV line-ups.
The Peugeot 207 Van has a choice of the 1.4 HDi 70 and the 1.4 HDi 92 unit. The Bipper, meanwhile, is fitted with the 1.3 HDi 75, which emits 109g/km, the lowest in the range. Further Euro5 engines will be rolled out across the range in the next 12 months.
All Ford FiestaVan 2011 engines now meet the Euro5 standard, while Ford said the Transit Connect 1.8 Duratorq TDCI with 90hp or 110hp exceeds Euro stage5 requirements.
