Europcar picks up Truckman hardtops for Hilux fleet

Pick-up accessories manufacturer Truckman has supplied 50 hardtops to vehicle hire company Europcar for use with its new fleet of 50 Toyota Hiluxes.
Europcar has ordered 40 of the company’s solid-sided double-cab RS hardtops and 10 single-cab hardtops.
Truckman claims its hardtops are the only models in the UK to be compatible with the Hilux’s rear window guard.
“An increasing number of tradespeople are utilising pick-up trucks and taking advantage of their versatility,” said Mike Wheeler, managing director of Truckman. “With the addition of our hardtops, the company will be able to offer a vehicle that meets a more diverse and specialist need of business, capable of comfortably handling tough environments.”
The hardtops will help transform the pick-up’s load bay into a safe and secure storage area for customers, many of whom use the vehicles for construction purposes, Truckman said.
