Renault has confirmed UK prices and specifications for its new Master Z.E. electric van for which order books opened in mid-November.

With power coming from a 33kWh battery, Renault says the Master Z.E. offers a real-world driving range of 74 miles with a half load, and can be fully charged from empty in six hours.

Three wheelbase configurations are available – SWB, MWB and LWB – and there is a choice of two roof heights – LR and MR.

The van’s payload is up to 1,128kg.

All Master Z.E.s are based on Business trim from the conventionally-engined Master range, with standard equipment including electric front windows and mirrors, DAB radio, Bluetooth, a CD player, USB, a full steel bulkhead, ESC, hill start assist and trailer swing assist.

Available options include a charging cable suitable for a domestic three-pin plug and a three-year renewal subscription to My Z.E Connect, which when combined with the R-Link media system, allows the van’s range to be viewed on a smartphone or computer connected to the internet.

Prices, excluding VAT and including the £8,000 government Plug-In Van Grant, range between £45,700 for an MWB LR platform cab model, and £48,800 for an LWB MR panel van.

The Master Z.E. is supported by the Renault Pro+ Business Centre network, with key benefits including sales and after sales advisors specially trained in LCVs, the availability of no-appointment servicing, workshops with extended opening hours and van-for-van courtesy vehicles.

The network is also able to offer converted vehicles based on the New Master Z.E via its accredited convertor programme, with Luton body, refrigerated units and parcel delivery conversions among those currently available.
