A crew van version of the Citroën Berlingo small van is now available to order.

The new model is based on the XL bodystyle from the existing Berlingo range, and will come in the Enterprise trim level.

It features seating for five, with a folding second row of seats and a through-loading moveable mesh bulkhead.

With the rear seats in place, there’s a maximum load floor length of 1,450mm and a load volume of 1.8m3, while with the rear seats folded the figures rise to 2,000mm and 3.5m3 respectively.

With the front passenger seat also folded, and the through-loading hatch open, up to 3,050mm of load floor length is available, and load volume is extended to 4.0m3.

The maximum gross payload is 850kg.

Engine options are a 1.2-litre, 110hp petrol engine with a six-speed manual gearbox, a 1.5-litre, 100hp diesel with a five-speed manual ‘box, or a 1.5-litre, 130hp diesel with an eight-speed automatic.

Standard equipment includes air conditioning, rear parking sensors, cruise control, an automatic electronic parking brake, electric folding door mirrors, DAB radio, and an 8in touchscreen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

Prices excluding VAT are £20,840 for the crew van with the petrol engine, £21,335 for the 100hp diesel, and £23,335 for the 130hp diesel.

The first deliveries are expected in late November.
