Vauxhall has made a new rear- and side-vision camera system available with its Combo light van.

The Surround Rear Vision system is designed to increase visibility to the rear of the van, and also in the passenger-side blind spot.

It features two cameras, one of which is mounted above the rear doors and provides both a close rear-view helping with reversing manoeuvres and a wide-angle view that can be engaged when the van is driving forwards.

The second camera is under the passenger-side mirror, and can show the driver if cyclists or pedestrians are in what would usually be the van’s blind spot.

The new feature is part of an optional parking pack, which also contains front and rear parking distance sensors, power-folding door mirrors, front fog lights and ultrasonic side sensors.

The pack is priced at £666.67 excluding VAT.
