Specs and prices announced for updated Mercedes-Benz Vito

Mercedes-Benz has confirmed full details of its facelifted Vito van range, which is available to order now.

It comes as a three-seater panel van or a six-seater crew van, in three lengths (4,895mm, 5,140mm, and 5,370mm), and with a choice of three trim levels – Progressive, Premium and Sport, with the latter available with the crew van only.

The whole range is offered with a choice of three rear-wheel drive diesel engine powertrains, with 134hp, 160hp and 187hp, while Progressive trim is also available with two front-wheel drive diesel options, producing 100hp and 134hp.

Standard equipment with Progressive trim includes: front fog lights, headlight assistant, heated and electrically adjustable mirrors, autonomous emergency braking, attention assist, crosswind assist, a Thatcham category one approved anti-theft package, cruise control, a 7in colour touchscreen, DAB radio, Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, a reversing camera, an eight-way adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support, a multi-function steering wheel and a locking glovebox.

Customers can also spec a Plus Pack, for £1,700 excluding VAT, which adds colour-coded bumpers, air conditioning, full wheel cover, and active parking assist.

Extra standard equipment with Premium trim includes 17in alloy wheels, a chrome radiator grille, metallic paint, a parking package, colour-coded bumpers, electrically folding exterior mirrors, air conditioning, and velour floor mats, while nine-speed automatic transmission is also available.

Stepping up to Sport trim adds further equipment including: sat-nav, black leatherette upholstery, heated front seats, sports suspension, AMG side skirts, LED head and tail lamps, roof rails, heated windscreen washers, a larger flue and Adblue tank, chrome interior details, bonnet and sill graphics, and nine-speed automatic transmission as standard.

Also standard across the range is the Mercedes Pro Connect system, with three years of free access to the Optimised Assistance service, including real-time reports on critical parts and fluids, journey logs, theft warning alerts, live locking from a mobile phone, geofencing, accident and breakdown management, and live traffic information.

Prices for the updated Vito, excluding VAT, start at £22,845. Premium trim is priced from £29,550, and Sport trim from £40,745.
