Accessories firm Truckman is preparing to restart its professional fitting service for the general public, in line with the scheduled lifting of Covid-19 restrictions on 12 April.

The company says retail customers have not been able to bring their vehicles to its headquarters in Dudley for fitting work since last summer.

It says bookings are currently being taken following an influx of customer enquiries.

Truckman executive chairman Mike Wheeler said: “The lifting of restrictions will enable us to reopen our fitting service to the public, helping prepare their vehicles for when they can start to venture further from home and explore the country from the summer.

“We have ensured the highest levels of hygiene and safety measures at our premises to give our customers confidence when they bring their vehicle to us for accessory fitting and look forward to again being able to welcome them to Truckman.”
