Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has added Clarks Vehicle Conversions and CoTrim to its to its Converter Recognition Scheme.

Clarks Vehicle Conversions, based in Doncaster, is developing a new Crafter welfare van conversion, to be release later this year, while CoTrim, based in Salisbury, specialises in crew vans, with conversions available for the Crafter (pictured) and Transporter.

VW says the two new partners have completed a rigorous certification process to meet the standards of its scheme, which means conversions are covered by a warranty that matches the base vehicle, with all servicing and aftersales support done via a regular VW van dealership.

A total of 21 converters are now members of the scheme.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles specialist sales manager Nick Axtell said: “We are continually looking at ways to improve our products and services, and that includes expanding the number of conversions that we offer through our Converter Recognition Scheme.

“Both of our new partners have unique specialisms and a wealth of conversion experience that will allow us to continue to deliver the best experience for our customers.”
