Paul Everitt, chief executive of the SMMT, one of the Commercial Vehicle Show’s organisers, told What Van? gaining accreditation would give the UK exhibition the opportunity to expand and build on its reputation, particularly in the odd-numbered years when the bi-annual Hanover Show, Europe’s largest CV exhibition, is not held.
“People will see the UK show as the big opportunity for the year,” Everiit said, “We will gain extra exhibitors and a higher profile.”
