Having been built by KFS Special Vehicles, Fiat Professional dealership, Guest Truck & Van Centre in Birmingham is to supply the Ducato 33 B2B chassis 2.3 130hp Multijet 11 Euro5 transporters to the Bath-based group.
Helphire will use the Ducatos to transport its vehicles between its network of 20 branches and four operational contact centres throughout the UK.
The transporters feature aluminium deck and bearers, load tested loading ramps and recessed tie rings. They all come with metallic paint and dual passenger seats too.
Helphire runs a fleet of more than 8000 cars, which it generally needs to move one at a time.
The firm’s fleet services director Tim Bailey said: “Our fleet ranges from the smallest cars right up to top of the range prestige vehicles so ensuring we have sufficient flexibility and maximum load weight is essential.”
