Peugeot has announced the appointment of Adam Wood as its new UK managing director.
Wood has been with parent company Stellantis since 2021 as marketing director for Vauxhall, and previously held multiple roles with Renault Group. He replaces Julie David, who is now managing director of Stellantis Premium Brands.
Wood said: “The Peugeot brand is going from strength to strength, and I am excited about our potential.
“Peugeot will be launching five electric vehicles in the next two years, and it will be great to play a part in bringing these to UK drivers.
“I’d like to thank Julie for all her hard work and wish her all the best in her new role.”
Wood will report to Stellantis UK managing director Paul Willcox, who said: “I am pleased to welcome Adam to the Peugeot UK team – he brings a wealth and breadth of experience to the role that will prove invaluable. I look forward to working with him over an exciting year for the brand as we launch new product and continue to electrify the model range.”
Alongside Wood’s appointment, Peugeot has also appointed Kristian Cholmondeley as marketing director, and Sam Brandon as regional operations and sales director.
Cholmondeley was most recently head of PR for Alfa Romeo and DS Automobiles, while Brandon’s previous role was as national sales manager for Alfa Romeo and Jeep.
Cholmondeley said: “I am pleased to be joining a great team at Peugeot in a year that sees numerous great new products.
“I look forward to working closely with Adam to show the UK public why Peugeot is such a strong proposition.”
Brandon said: “It’s a great time to be joining the Peugeot brand, with an exciting portfolio of products and new launches in 2023 and beyond.
“I look forward to working with Adam and Kris, the wider Peugeot team and importantly the Peugeot retail network to deliver the strong results that our product line-up deserves.”
