A dozen Ford Transit Connects are going into service with fire and intruder alarm and CCTV installation specialist John Moore Security. Some of the engineers driving them previously used Focus estate cars, but opted for the vans this time round to reduce their income tax liability.All short-wheelbase 200L 90hp diesels, they’re fitted with roof bars to allow them to carry ladders. Sourced through Automotive Finance & Leasing, each van will average 25,000 miles annually over a three year contract period. Based in Hull, and with 65 employees, John Moore installs systems in business premises across Humberside and Yorkshire.
