Nigel base, the SMMT’s commercial vehicle boss, welcomed the “uplift in van demand” ahead of the 2013 Commercial Vehicle Show next week (9-11 April).
Apart from the niche 4×4 segment, all sectors of the LCV market improved year-on-year in March, with pick-ups, small and light vans and heavy vans performing particularly strongly.
