Northgate in major expansion

Commercial vehicle rental giant Northgate has grown even further with the acquisition of Hampsons Self Drive Hire for an undisclosed sum. With a fleet of over 1,600 vehicles and nine branches, including sites in Grantham, Cambridge and Lincoln, Hampsons will continue to trade under its own name.

 

Northgate now embraces 21 subsidiaries operating from some 90 locations across the UK and Ireland. It has a fleet of over 65,000 rental vehicles, most of which are light commercials.
